Allan Dunn has been in education for the past 37 years, masquerading as a teacher and, for the last 26 years, as a technology education coordinator, guru, workshop presenter, and know-it-all. Known as the “Father of Bad Jokes using Technology,” he is now semi-retired and hanging out with other famous fathers who are more his age. Always on the lookout for innovative uses of technology in teaching, he is now developing this site to help teachers and students find great sites and learning activities.
You too, could be a contributor. If you have suggestions for links, teaching ideas, guides, or resources just e-mail Allan.
The goals of this site are to have:
•great links for students, primarily K-6, with an emphasis on open-ended activities.
•sites for staff that offer a wide variety of creative lessons and activities.
•a collection of useful research/resource tools.
•ready-to-use or modify inservice lessons, designed for a 30 minute instructional time frame.
•“thought-guides” to accompany some of the student site activities.
•a small collection of public domain photos for sharing.
•Near daily entries so that something new is available to explore.
